National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year 2017
September 29, 2017
One of my pictures of Great White Sharks was selected as a favorite for the National Geographic Photographer of the Year 2017.
I took this picture at Guadalupe Island, Mexico. This Island is a volcanic island located 241 kilometers off the west coast of Mexico’s Baja California and some 400 kilometers southwest of the port of Ensenada.
The camera I used to take this picture was a Leica X-U.
Visit the National Geographic Nature Photographer of the year webpage to see other finalists of the contest.
There are four different categories in this contest, wildlife, landscapes, aerial and underwater photography. Winners names will be available online on or about December 12, 2017. Fingers crossed!
